Joys and woes

Matters which made me sad\happy during these days .

My evening walks too make me happy. As I move on many people pass me by.Mostly I'm with my inner self, but do overhear what others say sometimes.e.g.
"Ay tum school jaate ho? Kya hota hai wahaan?"
says a boy pushing a vegetable cart,to another.
A cyclist whistling an old hindi song...
Then I noticed a very big heap of logs, which looked a lot like ...a heap of skeletons. They are cutting green trees marcilessly. Is there any place where I can complain about this mass slaughter!!

Each tree's death diminishes me indeed!

**************************** ***************************

Two months back my son told me that one of his classmates (one of the twins) was kidnapped.I was in a state of shock, thinking about what that 7 yrs old must be going through and plight of his mother left me sleepless for days.He was always there in my prayers.
My prayers were answered...last week the boy cameback safely I don't know abt the ransom etc.

Whoaaaa!
A new one! Sorry didi to have missed it since long - I means since so many hours:D(guessing u posted this along with ur mail :-?) I was out of insti whole day and didn't surfed net since last 20 hours!
Waise thanks for giving me another small but significant encouragement to re-start my early morning jogs :) hmmm evening walks and you are mostly contained :-? Am I hearing that you enjoy silently devouring the beauty of life and nature and daily chores - sounds very nice! I've been doing that since past semester!

kidnaps.. huhhhh :-< May be I've grown too thick-skinned to all this going around me-- from my daily dose from media about this-n-that and these days even my eyebrows refuse to rise on small incidence. Feel sorry for suffering people and my apathy, at times, though! Good to know that some people are still there to pray for them:) Good work, keep going! [@Myself: Who knows when I might need the prayers 2row :P]

I remember vaguely about some decision of supreme court some years back on a PIL about cutting trees esp in big cities which alredy lack greenary! Someone pls elaborate here if you know more.
In the meantime better find some NGO and media ;) seriouslly if something's happening big then just a call to Aaj Tak or some news agency might help :-? Do let us know since I've never tried that personally! wanna know the workability of my opinion!

Have a great weekend, I am wondering wats special this weekend :-? again pardon my wonderings but I am thinking of you as that first born niece to someone :)
Waise I find her (by looks) as just another ordinary neonate, though she is already my dearest beloved :"> May be a mother can only find a normal newborn a DOLL!

Hi Vandy,

Thank you for visiting my blog. I will be adding you in my link. I hope it's alright with you. The kidnapping of kids is scary thought for sure. I believe you are from UP but the situation is worse in Bihar. I seriously hope things change. Good to hear about the fact that the boy was fine and came back.

The vegetable cart incident you mentioned is very touching. It tells us so many things. I mean there are people who don't even know what they can learn in school and it's not their fault, it's their circumstances and fault of Govt. not to step up and do something about it. Education should be a right not a choice.

Cutting trees...hmm..I don't know where you can complain about it, maybe write to your local MLA or sign up a petition by local residents and send it to your local MLA...

Hi Ricky.
welcome here!

Kidnapping and illitracy both touched me more because kids were involved .
Here we do have a school run by NGO and many children are availing the facility.

Do you think our local MLA has time for all these things :-(
Calling a News agency or filing a petition ..arre I'm not that dynamic...
